Adriana sighed as the conversation went on without her. It was obvious they were going to keep on this train of conversation and she had no interest in revealing her big secrete….considering hers was more deadly than entertaining.
"Hey, it seems like you guys are really having fun. So... do you mind if I joined you? Oh, I forgot to introduce, the name's Krystian. Nice to meet you all." A new comer said as he took a seat near them.
“Hello, my name is Adriana, pleasure to meet you Krystian…” She said, being as polite as possible for her. She thought about falling into her sketch again but knew she had no real inspiration at the moment.
“Well…since I have nothing to contribute….you can take my place in this…slightly loonie conversation. I need a drink anyways…” She mumbled as she stood and stretched. She started walking towards the back hoping to catch sight of a flight attendant. She noticed a attractive boy with dark spikey hair and couldn’t help but give him a once over….and then she noticed the girl with dark wavy hair leaning over and talking to him. ‘Damn…too bad’ she thought with a self-depreciating smile. She only made it a few feet down the aisle before they hit slight turbulence, causing her to lose her footing. She tripped and landed ungracefully in a heap.
"I guess maybe I should hold off on getting a drink because apparently I cant walk sober..." she said trying to make light of the situation as she got to her feet and made her way to the bathroom. Once in there she sighed in relief. Maybe the flight was getting to her...and they had just taken off. She felt a little sick to her stomach at the thought of the long flight.
Adriana sighed as she caught her reflection in the mirror. Her scarlet hair was pulled back into a braid though a few wisps of hair had escaped. She was paler than usual and her chocolate brown eyes had dark rings. She hadn't been sleeping well since her mothers funeral a few weeks ago....because when she closed her eyes she saw the casket lowering into the ground....She sighed and splashed some water on her face.
"I guess both parents dying isnt good for the complexion...." she muttered as pain made her chest ache. Tears sprang to her eyes but she bit them back.
"Okay...no more self pitty..." she bit out to herself as she came out of the bathroom and sat back down in her seat.
