Autumn nodded as she listened to Kwasi. “That does sound rough. I don’t think I would be able to do it.”
It did seem strange, the head monk living such a lavish life. However, Autumn knew next to nothing about Aires. It wasn’t her place to make assumptions. Though, she did suspect some corruption. Not that she would ever say it, of course. Kat's comment only further aroused suspicions. “Well, I guess things will become clearer in the future.”
She yawned as drowsiness set in. Again with the exhaustion. “Maybe we should get some sleep soon. There’s probably going to be more training tomorrow.”
Watching the fire with tired eyes, she couldn't help but wonder if she would get anywhere in this world.
