Soa snapped from a stupor and found himself mid-stride. As his foot touched the ground he suddenly felt all of his physical sensation surge back to him. A fogginess slowly cleared from Soa's mind allowing him to distinguish his surroundings. With a focused gaze, Soa realized he was back in Bevelle inside the walls of his own sister's room.
Soa next made out in the dim light of the bedroom what he believed was his sister's form in the bed pressed against the far wall. The young man took another step forward towards the center of the room. Without warning the movement caused Soa a crippling pain that ran throughout his core and spiked in his limbs. His eyes strained as he looked down in an attempt to find the source of his injury on his person.
A panicked feeling welled up inside Soa when he took notice of the blood running down his left forearm and the growing red stain forming on the breast of his uniform. Violent twinges erupted in his chest and Soa couldn't withstand the feeling. His knees buckled underneath him and he dropped to the floor with a loud thud and a moan.
