~ A new age always has it's share of good and bad, even sometimes things people saw as neutral because it was harder to understand. One thing that was common right now was crime. How do you get seen as a criminal though, with so many conflicting views and opinions clashing against each other in what seems like a broken world to most. But there are some things people can agree on that is seen as dangerous and hostile, while others agree that it's not necessarily the person's own fault. But in a world of superpowers, what -could- work? Would it enter into a comic book kind of world? The answer is something no one has a clue to yet. ~

Gabriel never felt comfortable going into things like cars, or planes, or even these new trains they had built. But walking in a big city like this could be a problem, so Gabriel had reached an idea. He needed to find a speeding man. He knew what a speeding man was, someone who got paid to take you from one place to another, kind of reminded him of a show or a game that had someone do that in a country. Had it really been common, just a few years ago, when people could move another person around without the use of a vehicle? I've got to stop letting my mind wander like that, finally, I have a way to get to where I want. Finding himself before a wooden cart, he looked over to the person in front of it, the person smiling at him as he recognized him. "They call you the Memory Man, right?" The man asked Gabriel.

"Yep, I need a ride." Gabriel got out the money that speeding men usually requested, the man raising a brow and taking it, looking it over before gesturing to the cart. Gabriel made his way inside as the speeding man put the money away and took hold of the cart.

"Hang on tight." He warned Gabriel, but Gabriel had been caught off guard, for off they went at blinding speeds, everything becoming a blur around them!

~ A few minutes later ~

Gabriel had quickly thanked the speeding man before going inside the large tower they had arrived at. Gabriel had to tell the speeding man the directions, thankfully he didn't ask him why. Rushing up several sets of stairs, he finds himself on his floor and heads off for a room. Knocking on the door, he put his hands on his knees and tried to catch his breath before his boss saw him. Straightening himself up when he heard the handle move, the door opened to reveal his boss, a man who looked to Gabriel with a smile. "You always try to get here early?"

"Eh, what can I say? I like getting used to the environment first." Gabriel walks in and takes a seat in the room, his boss closing the door and moving to the couch.

"Whatever you say Gabriel. You've got one heck of a job, I'll give you that."

"Just turn on the television already, you big bonehead."

"Oh right, I almost forgot." Snapping his fingers, Gabriel watched as a tiny bit of blue light came across his vision briefly before hitting the television. The television's screen suddenly turns on, static going wild on it's screen before it cuts to a news reporter of Union City. "My job is so easy."

"Quit bragging and let's hear the news." The news was a big part of Union City updates, radio's worked too, but Gabriel was a memory man, he preferred an exact image over thinking up one. News reporter's got hired based on their backgrounds, for the most part, it worked to Union City's favor.

"Our top story today is a recent accident down in the underground travelling of Union City. One of the new vehicle's made was caught up in a strange incident, most of the passengers were injured from this accident, but so far, no deaths have been reported."

"Isn't that the train you usually take?" His boss asked.

"Yep."

"Wow, talk about irony. Good thing you weren't on it."

"Don't tempt karma electric-man." Although I hate to admit it, I feel like my messes at home saved my life today.

"In other news, special forces have been scattered to several reported incidents. We will bring you more information as these situations update, but for now, special forces have taken to keep these incidents quiet --"

"Oh what a surprise, the special forces hiding currently going on incidents from everyone again." Gabriel's boss rolled his eyes. "What is this, a movie or something?"

"No, it's a video game, you nitwit." Gabriel joked.

"Wait, hold up the jokes for a minute." Gabriel's boss turned up the volume using another electric shock to the television.

"We have a special message to play from an unknown sender. Um, wait, since when do we --" The television screen blacks out for a moment before a deep, robotic voice speaks out.

"Greetings, Union City. This is SOLO, and I have something to warn you all about."

"The notorious SOLO?!" Gabriel asked, turning to his boss, who looked just as surprised as him.

"SOLO's been sending special messages since his first appearance a month back, usually they're about something only 'he' considers important."

"My friends." SOLO said. "I wish to bring something to your attention, as it has come to mine. Three people with superpowers have caught my eye and I wish to see them... Put out of the way. I offer a special reward to the ones who bring them to me. Who are they, you ask? Well, you'll find them listed in the news, sometime between today and last week. I leave finding them up to you. The reward is... One million dollars. Have a nice day." The television returns back to the news room, as Gabriel and his boss sit where they were, shocked to hear SOLO's quest for the people.

"This... Is very bad." Gabriel's boss managed to get out.
