Gabe watched her as she trained, she was a good shot. Almost as good as him, he wondered if it came to a shootout between the two of them who would walk away and who would be left with a bullet through their forehead. The thought of her pointing a gun at him, her face set, eyes focused, every muscle tensed and ready to kill him. The thought almost made him laugh, until he noticed something, that is. She had changed, her movements were more rigid, less fluent. She moved like someone who was on camera for the first time, like she knew she was being watched. She tried to act casually but he could see that she knew he was watching her. He reached for one of the pistols in his waistband, never taking his eyes off of her.

He pointed the gun at her forehead while she pointed hers. But she wasn't aiming for him, she couldn't have been. By the way the gun was angled she was shooting for the floor directly below him. He was on the roof but her gun was definitely pointed at the window below, what was she aiming for? Raven grew fidgety and anxious beside him, a sign that it was time for them to go. He stroked her flank with his right hand while his left still aimed unwavering at the girl's head. When Raven continued to fidget he decided it was time to give up and go home. He put on his sunglasses, pulled his hat down low, and his coat up high covering his entire face so that all anyone could see were his sunglasses. He stood up, still staring at the girl and mounted Raven. He steered her away from the girl and snapped the reigns. In mere seconds Gabriel was flying over the rooftops of London. He told himself he could spy on her anytime, he looked up, it was getting dark anyways, he wouldn't have been able to see much longer even if he had stayed.
