"Sure you could help with dinner," Jason said flashing his friend a large smile, "Every great man needs an assistant. How can I be expected to remember my own schedules?" He teased. He was thankful that she offered to help as Jason didn't expect much in the way of help form the others as they were all quite willing to ride on the coattails of the others. The White business would be in good hands if they left it to Alex instead of the screw up that was Jack.

Busy talking to Alex he missed Alexander trying to flee to his room with Sarah, but Jack, being the rodent he was, was quick to jump on it suggest his sister was going to be making out with his little brother who wasn't worth her time. Jason thought she was more in love with the idea of love then with the boy. Someone didn't love everything about someone, that is called being blind, love is knowing their faults but loving them despite their faults, not loving their faults to. One was being blind while the other was seeing the other person for who they were. Still his sister was young, so she would figure it out sooner or later.

Jack's comment was not appreciated, "If he thinks about second base, I will make sure he can never go to third base with anyone," Jason said dismissively, but his voice held an edge as he was more then willing to harm Alexander, even physically mutilate him, if it meant keeping his middle sister safe. Any of his other sisters, and he would already be moving to kick their door in and inform them that in this house they will always have the door open when together, but Sarah was not his other two sisters. He trusted her, but he didn't trust Alexander, so he would be going over there soon enough to inform them about his door policy.

"Are you blind or just illiterate," Jason said pointing at the note on the fridge, "Lyla isn't going anywhere until Madison and Taylor get here. She has to tell them where she wants to go, you are not getting her into any more trouble," he spoke as if Lyla wasn't even there, but it didn't matter, she wasn't going anywhere until the nannies got here. Then it was up to them to try and keep her in line while he did his best to help. He had to admit, he knew he wouldn't be able to just let them do the majority of the work, but a part of him was also glad that he didn't have to spend his entire summer looking after Lyla. She needed to grow up someday, and while he wasn't sure if it was this Summer or even in this decade, all he could do was try to keep her from doing something colossally stupid until then. He still could not believe she drank and drove. Jason had always assured his parents that she wouldn't do that. That she knew better then that. Looks like he was proven wrong. Again.

Jason opened his mouth to confront Jack on if he wanted to start all this already when Ella walked getting eggs. Having missed her scrapping off her Bagel, he was filled with a mixture of surprise and elation that she was finally eating. Young teen girls and never eating all their food or picking at it, he would never understand it.

"Sorry Ella," Jason said, "Lyla can't take you shopping, she isn't allowed to drive. Grounded again," he said deciding to leave the details on why she couldn't drive out of it. Lyla was her hero and while he thought that was a terrible decision, he wasn't about to pull down Lyla like that in front of Ella, "And they didn't say goodbye to me either, sorry... If you want, you can try to call them."

Will had come in just then saying hello to which Jason gave an absentminded wave in his direction busy with talking to Ella. He couldn't go dirt biking because he had to stick around the house today that and just lounging on the couch with Alex sounded right for the day.
