Madison quietly went about making them a quick meal, heating up some soup out of a can and scrounging around for some crackers. She poured two glasses of water, putting them on the table in front of Gabriel and returning to monitor the soup. She relished in the silence. It wasn't exactly peaceful, but at least she had some time to quietly sift through her thoughts while she cooked. So many strange things in the world...and still she got floored by what they'd seen in the building.
She poured out two cups of soup and handed one to Gabriel before lounging on the couch and closing her eyes with a groan. "Ugh...when we get outta here, I vote we go to a hot spring..." she mumbled softly.
