Madison mostly stirred the soup around with her spoon, only taking a few actual spoonfuls by the time Gabriel had finished his off. She was lost in her own thoughts...Thoughts about the creatures in the building, thoughts about what the rips really meant, and especially thoughts about the two of them and what they'd need to do before they could was their hands of the city.
"Hm...?" she replied softly, not really registering his question at first. She took another sip of soup and swallowed before actually turning to look at him. "I don't know, Gabe...The world's a crazy place, but we're sorta crazy now, too, aren't we?" She sighed softly and set her food to the side disinterestedly. "I mean, we have to try. We don't have a choice, right?"
