Sam had noticed her gaze, how quickly it ran away from the girl. Rather than feel insulted, she would smile. "Well, hey there, beautiful." That smile was definitely playful. "I want a BLT sandwich, gimme some fries and a root beer with that too, will you, doll?" She wasn't afraid to call the waitress by names like that. It demanded her attention with the faux flirting, forced her to keep her eyes on Sam. The spotlight that Sam so loved was hers. "The two bombshells here will have a salad," she pointed at Lynn and then at Lillian, "And she'll have a cheeseburger with onion rings and a Dr. Pepper. And that'll be it, gorgeous. Thanks a bunch."
The waitress would get out of there and back to the kitchen ASAP, more than likely weirded out by a small crippled girl tossing compliments at her with the orders. Sam would snicker and turn to her sisters. "I guess she doesn't swing that way. What a shame." It was obvious she was being sarcastic and just enjoyed the attention she got. This was typical of Sam. Flirting with people who would turn their gaze away from her. She would only keep her smirk and check out the 'axe murderer' again, admiring his beard. It was pretty impressive. She liked it. "Think he's a lumberjack or something?"
