Tansy was ready to walk away because it didnāt look like Donnie was going to cut in at any point and she honestly didnāt expect him to, she was honestly surprised he hadnāt just broken up with her because she kept going back to Collin and she wasnāt sure sheād ever stop going back to him. It was hard for Tansy, she had a naturally addictive personality and Collin was both a habit and an addiction she couldnāt seem to break no matter how hard she tried.
"Alright, put the fucking claws away ladies." Donnie finally spoke up and she let out a breath of relief. He scolded the girl for a second before he grabbed her arm and pulled her a little ways from the party so they could be alone and when sheād been trying to find him sheād had a million things sheād wanted to say to him, but now that they were alone she could think of one thing to say to make it all better. He crossed his arms and she couldnāt stand the way his eyes raked over her.
"So you really sorry, or are you just bored with Colin now?" he asked and his words hurt, she bit her lip looking away from him. She which she was fucking sober. "Because I'm not going to have only half of you Tansy. If you want me still, you're mine." He shrugged and she flicked her eyes to his, he was willing to take her back like always and she almost wished he wouldnāt, maybe sheād learn. Then again she doubted it. "I'm sick of wondering who you're fucking, and I'm definitely done competing with Colin. There shouldn't be a competition if you love me Tans. It's me or him." He shrugged and she looked away choking back tears.
The choice was without doubt Donnie, but she couldnāt make that promise to him. It would always be him, but she was too much of a wild card. Tansy wasnāt the type of girl, no matter how badly she wanted to be, to settle for a serious relationship. She was too weak for the party scene, playing games. She could try to stop, but eventually itād just make her hate Donnie and she loved him too much for their relationship to turn into that.
āBabe, you know itās you.ā She finally breathed glancing back to him. āI love you so fucking much, it scares the shit out of me.ā She said honestly keeping his gaze so that he knew she wasnāt lying. āBut, no matter how hard I try I canāt change who I am and I canāt change my history with Collin. Iāve tried.ā She shook her head looking away. āYou knew from the start who I was, everyone warned you.ā She closed her eyes. āI told you before Donnie, you canāt have me.ā The last time sheād said that it was cruel and bitter, now she was just being honest, that sheād probably never be able to be fully his. Sheād only ever be able to be half his.
Reed hesitated when he put the key in the ignition and as badly as he wanted to glance back up and look at her he knew if he did heād finally creak. Heād been so close to creaking when he kissed her. Finally he started the car and made his way back up the long dirt road. He dropped the car off at his friendās house, before walking downtown, which was slightly dangerous considering how late it was and the fact that he was alone, but he really didnāt give a shit. Heād ended up at his dealerās house and spent good three thousand dollars, heād been saving to buy Candie the necklace sheād seen a few months back and fallen in love with, on coke and heroine and just about anything else he could get with that kind of money.
By the time heād gotten home he Candie had been in every damn thought heād had. He figured sheād probably gone back to fucking Kaleb the second heād pulled away. The thought was agonizing, the thought of some other guys hands all over her, Kaleb none the less. Heād shot up a dangerous amount before snorting lines of coke. He turned up his music full blast. Over the last four months, Reed had grown up quite a bit, heād had to mature having bills and a job. But, in a matter to minuetās heād reverted back into Lux, Mr. Misunderstood, anarchist. The kid everyone used to be too scared to mess with because they were afraid heād lose it and come to school with a gun.
Candie was the glue that held him together, managed to make him responsible and want to be a better person. Without him he was worse than Collin when he was around Tansy. He pulled out a box from his closet with all his all shit in it, he pulled a can of black spray paint, smirking as he popped off the cap and shook the can. He grabbed the half full bottle of vodka on the dresser taking a swig, before making his way into the living room. He painted fuck and anarchist symbols on nearly every wall as well as other dark and crude things until the spray paint ran out and he tossed it away.
Saying heād lost it was a complete understatement. He slipped his shirt off tossing it away before he continued his meltdown of tearing apart his entire apartment, punching holes in walls, and collecting Candieās in a trash can and burning it in the living room. The was a knock at the door and he smirked raising a brow, he hoped it was Candie, then she might actually like him again. He rolled his eyes at the thought as he made his way over to the door and whipped it open only it was Demetri. Lux lend in the door way and he watch Demetriās eyes focus on the trashed apartment behind Reed.
āWhat the hell man, do you know what time it is?ā he spat and Lux just shrugged with a smirk.
