"I have something I need to do before the days out. After that I'll be gone from this retched city."
The stranger seemed so incredibly paranoid and careful; she allowed her usual grin to fall into something similar to a cold frown. It was clear this man had many secrets and stories to tell, which matched perfectly with his appearance. Akira paused for a second before replying. "Oh really?" The melodramatic tone and sarcasm in her voice was somewhat off putting, but still as silky as ever. "What kind of work do you do to make you have to whisper this quietly." She hissed coldly.
Akira noted the way he sat back in his seat, dominant and prideful and also the way her own posture was with her palm holding her chin and her body leaning towards him slightly. It was clear she was very curious and lapped up information like a cat with milk and was also desperate for some company. He was also rather attractive which was always a plus for the Sapien, as she was a very visible creature. Still Akira needed to desperately know if he was a Sapien or Neco, and what this job of his involved. If it was anything to do with the war and oppression against her race, she would have to put the man down with a bullet through the skull.
The raven haired woman swirled the last bit of her wine in her glass before taking the finally sip. "Do you not think this city is more pleasant than the cattle sheds they are keeping Sapiens in now days? Here they both live in peace, even if it is clear who is the 'higher' race." She questioned him, clearly very passionate about the situation to the point she must have had a lot of history with this worlds issues.
"Excuse me sir. I'm sorry again, but I have already said this isn't a smoking area."
"Hey bud, look at the table. The lady wants to thank you for your service with a tip. You gonna accept it?"
"Oh. Thank you kindly. You really have made my day sir. You too mam."
Akira seemed to freeze, holding in her laughter until the man left the area before she spluttered out a giggle. "You sure do like your cigarettes don't you? Just cause you are filthy rich does not mean you can disrespect peoples rules though, but you seem like the hard man type who likes to do as he pleases." She told him, which oddly seemed to role off her tongue as a compliment rather than complaint.
"People in this city sicken me so. They live their lives in content whether they're Neco or Sapien, while ignoring the lives of others. That man probably never gets tips and has to put his kids through school in this miserable city off the wage they give him here. Hmph."
At this point Akira froze up. What he had just stated had gone against what she was trying to work out at this current moment in time. She opened her mouth as though to speak but quickly snapped it shut. Akira wondered how this stranger would react if she told him she slaughtered any Neco who oppressed her. "I know what you are saying. It is not so easy to forgive though. You can't just ignore what is going on in this world." Akira sighed deeply, though she now decided against questioning him about his race anymore.
"I advise you make your supply hunt fast. After tonight, the authorities will be on a hunt for strange looking tourist, such as yourself and I."
As he pushed away from the seat, she too did copy. The Sapien scooped up the Rena flower and her back before following behind him before finally walking at a steady speed at his side. "You have not answered my questions Sir. If you were not flirting with me what did you want from me?" She asked with her familiar smirk plastered on her lips. "My name is Akira Theron. Please pleasure me with some company for a few more minutes. You don't know how long I have been alone."
