Akira Theron

Akira was somewhat worried that the dark haired name found her presence somewhat annoying, and she guessed that his reaction to her walking at his side that it was indeed this way. Still she was pretty damn desperate for company, and so tried to not allow herself to think about whether he wanted her there or not; it was just about what she wanted. Akira decided that staying sane in this world would increase her performance for the day when the revolution arrived.

"I guess I didn't,"

A smile just less than her cocky smirk grew on her lips as he spoke. The stranger did seem to slow his pace so that the pair could walk together, and even though it was a simple action she did appeared it. As they walked further and further into the city she suddenly quite sharply pulled up her hood; it was clear she was uncomfortable which was somewhat strange for a woman who seemed as confident and outgoing as herself. She knew this world was now packed with people with judging eyes, even she was one of those judges.

"Well, in no specific order, I do think that this city is better than the sheds. It's better than a lot of things, but the taste this place gives me. It's just one of ignorance. Sure, Neco and Sapien have a chance to make it big here. They can get a job and raise through the ranks together. That part is fine I guess. Though, if you look at situations like that waiter. You so many people are still struggling. Why? Who knows."
"I do know one thing. It's not anyone's individual fault. It's the wealthy. The government. Same people that make up prices and ranks for people depending on their income. They're the monsters. In my opinion, I'd rather live in the shed then this area. At least there, you see things for what they are. Here they put wool over your eyes and tell you to walk in the direction they make for you."

Akira walked in a unpleasant silence for a good few moments before she finally shattered it. "The world is corrupt. It makes me sick to my stomach." She spat rather venomously, clenching her fists rather tightly and gritting her teeth. "The war had no logical reason to it. It did not provide a solution for anyone, not even the highest of Necos. It only destroyed and ruined." Though her sentences were simplistic and rather cliche, due to the lump in her throat it was clear that she was speaking from a personal view point rather than a generalised one. "I do not care if you are Sapien or Neco anymore Sir. You have earned my respect. Think yourself lucky cause not many people get it."

"These cigarettes are the only thing I can count on. I don't really like them, but they do help the days go by when they're rough."

Akira seemed displeased by his smoking habits what with her wrinkled nose and frown. "I don't understand. I know they are less deadly than the older days, but it is still basically a suicide stick. Though I can't say since I have not ever tried one so I can not judge." With those last worlds she paused and thought about what she had just told him, before swiftly plucking the cigarette from his hand with ease and drawing in a big breath with it. Almost instantly she began coughing and spluttering with her hands on her knees. "I'll s..stick to my wine thank you." Akira laughed, looking up at him with tears stinging in the back of her emerald eyes before handing back the foul thing.

"As for why I walked up to you, well, that's just because I could tell you weren't from here. Like I said earlier, you might want to leave town before the morning comes. This place is about to go through something that might be big enough to change how people think. At least some people."

"Oh you have gotten my curiosity going now though! I will get of the way if you do so advice it but trust me I would like to see a revolution, even if it is just a tiny one!" Akira purred in a excitable tone, nudging closer towards him until their arms brushed against each other awkwardly. "Why can't you tell me? Your dirty secrets are always safe with me handsome." The raven haired woman flirted, half because it was just generally the way she spoke and half because she knew that sometimes it was the way to wrap people around her finger.

"June... My names June."

She seemed to soften somewhat as he introduced himself. "Lovely name. A summer time boy? Though you look as dark as the longest of icy winter nights. It should not suit you at all but for some reason it just does." By this point she was just mumbling hopelessly, but it calmed her nerves and mind so she continued to do so anyway.
