“Oh for crying out loud.” Tayrn swore under her breath at the boy’s words towards the nefarious figure, her eyes narrowing slightly in irritation.

Tightening her grip upon his arm, she all but started to drag him away from the stranger, who was destroying the ground with every step he took. Moving backwards away from whatever it was that happened to be occurring at that moment, she felt her fingers tingling slightly. It wasn’t long before the tingling moved throughout her limbs. She suddenly remembered everything and wondered if the kid was the one that had brought her back. If so, why? Shaking her head, she hoped the child wouldn’t resist her dragging him away from the scene because she had a ton of questions, ones that wouldn’t be answered if they were killed.

“Come on, we need to leave… now.” She cautioned the kid, her eyes still narrowed angrily.
