He tucked and rolled through landing, pivoted, and while rising he drew out a thirteen inch khukuri that had been sitting laterally at his belt and across his back in a brown case.

Alek was already starting to rise but would be met with the slash of a high grade carbon steel and silvered blade that could easily be classified as a short sword or a long knife and that had enough weight to hack through a limb with a strong swing.
