The sound of her feet going across the ground changes from a rustle to a scraping sound as she gets to the town. It is still pretty dark but the sun is starting to peak over the mountain. "What the hell happened back there?" Lizzie thinks as she passes a few buildings. Everything is starting to go blurry for her due to the lack of sleep and food in the past few days. It's hard to even get the basic things you need nowadays, never mind the luxuries of alcohol or electronic devices. She hasn't ever heard of them but her parents' parents used to have them. Then this shit happened and they became rare. Knowing that soon they will be after her again, she will have to act like the prey. For example, follow the wind although it is making her go straight down the road anyway. A few minutes later, she hears and sees a motorbike ahead.
