āWhat the hell do you mean youāre leaving?ā Mattyās voice was harsh and irritated as they sat in the private inmate visitor room. Sadie sat arms crossed as she rolled her eyes. āWe are already on the verge of losing Lana and your fucking taking off? Are you kidding me Sadie.ā He spat rising his voice.
Matty was Sadieās estranged fiancĆ©e, heād been in prison for the past few years for a number of reason and even from prison he was still abusive and controlling when it came to Sadie and what she did. Sadie wasnāt entirely sure why she even went to visit him because he was impossible to talk to. Sadie was about the only person who wasnāt scared of him, even the prison guards seem to be on edge when they dealt with him. She avoid contact for a long moment of silence between them before he slammed his cuffed hands down on the table and Sadie had enough. She stood up placing both her hands on the table, holding his eyes now.
āYou think I donāt know that Matty, Iām not stupid. Iām doing this for her. Everything Iāve done is for her.ā Sadie spat back never breaking contact despite the dark look in Mattās eyes. āIf I donāt do this, thereās a good chance will never see her again.ā She breathed. āI have to go.ā She said simply walking towards the door and as she did she could hear Matty yelling at her to come back and that he wasnāt finished but she couldnāt stop, because she knew if she stayed to long heād talk her out of going and for once in her life she had to stop being selfish if she ever wanted a chance at getting her daughter back, no matter how much she hated the idea.

Sadie was exhausted, but after a nineteen hour flight with two layovers, sheād finally arrived in Milan, Italy where she was meeting the Neroli brothers for the first time as well as the rest of the group sheād be traveling with for the next year. She wasnāt exactly nervous, nor excited. She was only doing it in the honest hope that she could get clean, get custody back of her daughter, and get the hell away from Matt. She spun her engagement ring on her finger as she sat in the conference room. she was the first to arrive and she was starting to get second thoughts about the whole thing, debating whether or not she should just leave.
The door opened and two men came into the room, whom she assumed was the Neroli brothers. Sure enough thatās exactly who it had been. They introduced themselves and told her to help herself to the refreshments as they waited on the rest of the people to get there. No more than five minutes later another girl showed up, platinum blonde hair, business suite, looking rather up tight. The Neroli brotherās gave her the name Meadow, just like theyād given Sadie the name Rainey. They werenāt supposed to use their real names. Next through the door was a guy with a thick Asian accent, Cyress was the name heād been given.
Saide already felt out of place, because while the other two looked clean cut and seemed rather uptight. She was the complete opposite. Bleach blonde hair that hung just past her hips, covered in tattoos. She sighed as she ran her fingers through her long hair and continued to focus on her engagement ring, not really in the mood to introduce herself.

Toby was excited, heād never been outside of New York city and now he was driving through Milan, Italy on his way to a four star hotel. It was surreal for him and he couldnāt be more grateful. Toby had never been one to ask for much, nor had he every really wanted anything. Heād always been the one giving up his food for other and taking care of people, he was always putting people before himself and it was nice to finally be doing something for himself. His life had been so shitty up until this point. The sun was going down, the sky a pink yellow color, resembling sherbet ice cream and he smiled at the thought.
The information heād gotten told him to bring only what he needed, which was just about everything he owned. He had a small backpack with exactly two shirts heād found in the trash and managed to wash in a gas station bathroom sink, a pair of jeans heād been wearing for the past two years, and a picture of his mom and sister. That had been the extent of his personal possessions since heād lost his mom. In all honesty though he didnāt mind it because having nothing made him appreciate everything else a little more.
When the taxi cab finally stopped in front of the hotel he climbed out and looked up at the large, beautiful detail of the building and for the first time he realized that this was really happening. It wasnāt just a dream. He pushed through the expensive glass door, adjusting the strap of his backpack on his shoulder. He didnāt look awful, heād managed to put together a decent enough outfit to make him look a little less homeless and a little more put together. The front desk pointed him in the direction of the conference room. He made his way down the expensive looking corridors of the hotel before pausing in front of a door the had a piece of paper titled [i]āThe Wanderlust Projectā[/b]
He reached for the door only someone opened it before he had the chance. āYou must be Toby.ā A man spoke in his thick Italian accent and Toby knew by the accent and the way he was dressed that he was one of the Neroli brothers. Toby nodded with a shy smile. āGreat, well, Youāll be going by River, Martin is inside, go ahead and get settled were waiting for two others.ā He explained as he opened the door gesturing for Toby to go inside and he hesitated for a moment before he finally ducked into the room.
