The smile on her face turned to confusion he'd never looked at her this way. She didn't understand why he was so lifeless. She took a deep breath. "I'm all yours today! Cheer up!" she exclaimed. It quickly dawned on her he couldn't understand her. Her eyes became sad for a moment before she forced her body to transform. The cracking of her bones and the sound of her muscles being distorted was enough to make anyone's skin crawl. She shook her head ruffling her fur trying to shake the awful feeling. She looked up at him and repeated herself. "Cheer up! I'm all yours today!" She jumped up onto the bed and nuzzled against him.
