Needless to say, Ian was rather confused as to why the girl did not just speak her name. Rather than doing that, she wrote her name on her finger. He raised an eyebrow at it and then turned his eyebrow-raised gaze up to his partner before shrugging. Her face was red as a beet. He would be a liar if he said that he didn't think that was cute. "Alright then, Melody." She almost looked like a kid with her face buried into her pillow, which only strengthened his resolve to protect her. "Not much of a talker, eh? That's kind of a shame. I guess I won't really get to know you all that well. But that's fine. To each their own. I'll just do all the talkin' for us! No worries!" The problem with that is that in the wrong situation that would be something to worry about. Ian was smarter than the typical jock, but... well, he lacked wisdom. He had the tendency to act and speak on impulse, putting no real thought into what he said or to whom he said them.
"Let's see, about me. I like lacrosse and candy. I'm from America and I think that rock music is really-" He was cut off by a vibration and a guitar riff coming from his pocket. Reaching into it, he pulled out a red flip phone and flipped it open. "Huh. Speaking of rock music... Looks like we got our first assignment, Melody. We have to reach the CD shop in the AMX district." Flipping it closed by flicking his wrist rather than using his fingers, he pockets his phone. His hands find a home in his pockets as he begins walking off. "I actually used to hang around the AMX district when I didn't have practice. Nothing too much there but a couple stores, really, but it's one of the cleaner parts of the city." With a shrug, he hunches forward slightly as he picks up his pace with a fast walk. "This way, come on, Melody."
