Charlotte was still on the ground, her blood was dried on the floor, she wondered when she’d get out of the room, and what injuries she had to her back and lower body, when Mariah offered her hand Charlotte weakly offered her own, and did her best to pull herself off the floor.
”Oh shit” she groaned, as she looked at the damage. Without saying a word, she pulled out splinters of wood from her back, wincing and silently screaming while a few tears escaping her eyes. ”A drink sounds good” she offered weakly. ”You may have to help me walk though” she said with a weak smile, some of her bruises started to heal already.
She put her arm around Mariah’s shoulders and hobbled off with her.
