Rowan waited until the others had left, moving towards the bar once again to fill another glass. His other glass had been shattered when the table was destroyed. He swirled the amber liquid, smiling down at the glass in his hand. His blue hues swirled with the light behind them, although they were not as bright as they had been ten minutes prior.

"Your brother won't be a problem for us, will it Felix?" Rowan asked, turning his gaze to the man. "This is a battle where we cannot afford weakness. Where we cannot afford hesitation or even the slightest hint of uncertainty. You choose this pack, and your loyalty is mine." Rowan smiled a caring smile. He seemed almost normal, the guy who lived next door and had a decent job. He was always good at putting people at ease. Almost like a poison that numbed you before the life drained away from you. This was what Rowan was good at.
