The Lower City was an urban jungle of scum and villainy. Law meant absolutely nothing here. It was all about reputation. The more imposing you were, the less likely you were to be attacked... most of the time. The street was lit up only by whatever street lights were still functioning. One of the Upper City modules literally eclipsed this module of the Lower City, shrouding it in unnatural darkness. It was mid-afternoon but it felt like midnight. A lone man walks down the street with an air of confidence and attitude. When he passed by a few beggars, they looked away not wanting to cause any trouble. The man made a hard left turn into a thin, dark alleyway for a shortcut.

This was his last mistake. Behind the gangster, a pair of orange glowering, hellish eyes appeared. Before the man could turn around and whip out his gun, it was all over. The creature had lunged and bit into his jugular vein with it's....tail? The man dropped dead in a pool of his own blood. The creature stood tall over the body, and happily smiled. "Another one bites the dust I suppose-" It stops mid sentence. It wasn't near any TV but it could hear the sudden booming voice of GEHENNA, and his demand. It's smile quickly became a frown...

"GEHENNA. Are you following me?" It whispers to itself as it looks up to the underside of the Upper City. Unlike the rest of Stratevaria, the creature, Byatis, knew about GEHENNA. Like the evil overlord, he too, was from the Death World Megido. He had escaped fairly recently, tired of the same setting. Byatis shook his head. "I will not let him take this galaxy from me!" He thought for a moment. "I am sure I'm not the only one... they will lead me to this elevator..thing." With that, Byatis disappeared from sight and took a massive leap to get to the rooftops. He ran on all fours along the roof tops, analysing the crowds for abnormal behaviour.
