"If having women faunt themselves at you is too much then do what I did and take a male as a mate for a while. No harm in that."
At first Ace chuckled at Orerons comments so much that he had to hold his stomach and ribs before rubbing them to take the pain away. He then fell into silence, thinking about his words and worked on an honest reply to his suggestion. "I'd like to have a mate but I don't think I'm the type. I mean I'm barely a neco and a lonely cabin dweller with nobody but a dog for company. I'm not exactly respectable or boyfriend material in this type of world am I?" He explained before running his fingers through his blonde hair awkwardly. Being honest Ace was greatly jealous of Oreron and what he had and lost, but also who he was as a human being. He had kind of become a role model for the blonde but he knew he would never be able to live up to that mans standards.
"Plus isn't love quite uncommon in this world now? I thought people more or less forgot the feeling existed." He told the group darkly, which was rather factual. Many necos had been told to have destroyed many emotions through the warfare as they programmed their own brains to only do their duty, which left no room for anything else. "Of course I guess it's hard to feel anything good in some situations." He instantly thought of Jennifer.
"And what is wrong with you? One minute you're all panther I heat and the next you're back to Ms. Stoic and everything."
"I'm gonna go..."
"check the forests for punching bags."
Owsla and Ember were seeming to have a growing amount of conflict with each other. Of course it had always been this way even when they first met in the cabin many years ago as he recalled Owlsa stating something along the lines of how that woman acted was unnatural, and in many ways she was correct. Still he did not know what to do or what to make of it. Even though Ace often filled the role of a peace keeper it did not mean he was a very good one.
He gave fluffin a generous amount of chocolate before placing the creature upon the table. "Don't worry buddy. She will be back soon." It quickly scurried over to the purple haired stranger.
"My name is Shrade, and you'll find that I'm not messy and... geez, you must be like those bad roommates aren't you?"
"Are you sure it is me that is the bad roomate here? You are the one who turned up uninvited." Ace scowled but there was a light smile upon his lips. At the moment in time he had barely any judgement upon this man as he disliked their first encounter due to his interest in Owlsa's breasts but now enjoyed his casual laid back humor. Still he was not comfortable with him in the house either way. "Ace Tyrant. Though I don't really believe names tell people who we really are. I guess I will just have to find out about you in time."
