It's good to be back, you know. He thought to himself as he stretched out his upper body, while having his hands up in the air. He might have missed school for the day, but that didn't mean he didn't make it in time for the sports events after school. Sides, it was better than school work, school was something he found a waste of time.
After putting his things away in his dorm room on the first floor, he headed straight to the Gym. Even after a whole year of being gone, this school still hasn't changed much. The only thing that changed was probably new faces here and there. And every time he ran into someone, it was an old fan of his. Squealing and asking where he's been, all he could say was the same answer. "I been over seas and now I am back, I dare say." It was the same with everyone, it almost started to get on his nerves being stopped so much.
When he was finally able to reach the Gym, the guys were already practicing. It was fast when a few guys noticed Conrad standing in the huge door way of the four doors that led to outside the Gym. "Long time no see, you guys, I mean." A cheeky smile parted on his face as he tilted his head slightly. Moving his hips to the left, while resting his hands on his belt.
"Conrad?!" They all shouted as the rushed over.
"It's been ages! How you been?! Where have you been?!" Once question after another came from each different guy all at once.
Conrad chuckled and raised his hands in defeat. "I been over seas, you know. We moved there a year ago, my family and I, I mean. It was something that I had no choice in, I dare say."
"So does this mean your back? For how long?"One of the guys stepped out of the crowed and up close to Conrad.
Taking a step back he rubbed the back of his head. "Probably until the end of the Sports Tournament's Finals. So it should be fine, I dare say."
"I wonder what Jur would do when he finds out that you're back? You know the coach wont have it any other way for you being our Captain. As amazing as Jur is, he doesn't match you and your eyes." One of them admit. "Still we couldn't have made it this far without him. He's gotten way better than he use to be Conrad."
"I wont take it, Jur's spot that is. Not unless he knows he needs me, I dare say." Conrad's eyes looked over his old and new teammates. He could tell right away which one needed alot of work and which ones didn't need much. The Finals are a big deal and if they want to make it, they need to train more. They can't always count on Jur or Conrad. Specially if they end up getting hurt.
Something caught his eye for just a brief moment, it was that of the color red. It stuck out sure, but the boy didn't. It was like he vanished with the air in the room. Him sitting there with a ball in his hands sure was odd. Part of the team huh? This sucks, I can't read him at all...Why?
He never once had a problem like this before. So already the kid took his interest in a split second. The boy was small and easy enough to break, but hard to see. Why was this? He had to find out and the sooner the better. "You kid with the red hair, who are you, I dare say?" He turned his head to see the kid properly, along with his body a bit.
