Josh was probably the best first person to talk to, because even though he was understandably surprised to see Logan, he wasn't too dramatic. "Yeah, an all guys boarding school didn't seem like the most exciting place to spend my senior year," he replied lightly. It was a simpler explanation than the truth and he doubted that Josh would inquire further on the topic. There wasn't any time for him to ask more questions, actually, because they were soon joined by Benji and Lexi, and then Katherine. Logan would have preferred approaching Lexi, since even though he knew he was destined to see her at some point over the night, he wanted at least a few minutes to prepare himself.
There was no time to get ready though. She was standing in front of him; long blonde hair glistening, skin tanned from a summer in the sun and toned body demanding his attention. It was her, his first love, and after sleeping with a few more than a handful of girls over the past year, he was beginning to think that she was his real love. No other girl he had met compared to her, and as he stood in front of her for the first time in a year, he couldn't imagine what had drawn him to anyone else. Why did he always want someone new? What was wrong with him that made it impossible for him to stick with one girl who was so amazing?
Her comment about him only being back because he had gone through all of the girls in Connecticut was probably a bit resentful, but it brought a smirk to his face. She was clearly still as fiery as she used to be. "Hmm... maybe a little bit of both," he answered her. It wasn't as sentimental of a reunion as he had imagined, but he also didn't want to get too mushy in front of all of their friends, let alone a room filled with tons of other people. No, he'd save that for later. Besides, he liked playing hard to get just as much as he liked girls doing it to him. "I'm gonna go grab a drink. I'll see you guys around," he said casually, as if being back home without notice wasn't worth a real explanation.
