Later that morning, DĂșlinnor finally began to stir. The Elf kept his eyes closed for a few more moments. The first thing that he realized was that he was warm and perfectly comfortable where he was. He wanted nothing more than to simply remain where he was. As he began to slowly begin to wake up more, DĂșlinnor suddenly realized that someone was laying within his arms. Suddenly, the earlier hours came flooding back to his mind. He had fallen asleep in Reinette's room after the pain had begun to subside.

He hoped that she was not cross with him. He'd honestly not meant to stay for so long. Reinette's head was right below his chin and he tried not to move..at least just yet. The feeling of her in his arms made felt as if she belonged there. It was odd yet DĂșlinnor was happy to keep her there. He finally, slowly, opened his eyes. He took in what he could see of the room. He'd not been in there since Reinette had come to stay with him. It had once been rather a cold looking room yet now it simply felt..warm.

She'd slowly made it into her room. Of course that was expected. She'd been with him for some time and it only made sense that she would make the room more into her own. His arm tightened slightly about the woman, waiting to see if she was awake. A moment later he spoke, sleep still in his voice. "Good morning." He allowed the young woman to answer him before he continued, seemingly content to remain as he was. "I..am sorry." He waited for a moment before he decided to explain himself.

"I woke up earlier..my shoulder was bothering me. So, I took some of the elixir and..I...just though that if I..was with you that it would keep my mind from the pain." He was not wanting to tell her how bad the pain had been though she might figure it out. "It was not my intention to fall asleep." He paused, allowing her to speak if she wished it. Honestly, now thinking about it..he wasn't entirely sure why he'd allowed himself to enter her room. He shouldn't have..though he had felt better afterwards.

"I am not in pain now..perhaps I should just keep you near me until I am healed." He said, laughing lightly. He moved, removing his arm from Reinette's waist. He turned just slightly so that he was on his back. "I have to admit..I rather enjoy waking up with you." He said softly. He waited a few more moments before he decided that they needed to get ready for the day. He waited for her to move before he slowly sat up.

He turned his gaze to Reinette, a small smile on his face. He leaned over, placing a lingering kiss upon her lips. Everything just felt...right. DĂșlinnor would have liked nothing better than to remain there with Reinette for the rest of the day. Yet, he could not. "Did you wish to take care of my wound now?" He asked her. It would likely be easier if she did. He waited for her to answer before he made sure that she wanted to do it in her room. Only then did he remove his tunic, waiting for her to begin with the task. It went as it had the last few times that Reinette had taken care of it.

When she was finished, DĂșlinnor put his shirt back on, smiling at the woman. He thanked her again before rising from the bed. "I shall see you shortly. I'm going to get ready." He placed another kiss on her lips before turning from her and making his way from her bedroom. The Elf headed to his room and he took his time getting ready. He could only do little in the kitchen for now and it was not something he liked. He'd grown used to taking care of Reinette and now..she was taking care of him. The thought left a strange feeling in his chest.

He made sure to put his sling on. Though the wound was not bothering him much he knew that it was still best to keep it on until he was no longer having any pains. Slowly, he made his way to the kitchen to join Reinette for breakfast. He greeted her warmly, sitting down to join her for the meal that she'd prepared. The meal went quickly and DĂșlinnor spent much of the meal speaking with the woman.

When they'd cleaned up, the Elf suggested that they could head to his brother's home. They would be expecting them. As they exited the flet, DĂșlinnor offered his good arm to Reinette, keeping her close to him as they began the walk. He spoke with her happily as they walked. He had to admit that he'd not expected to arrive so quickly. However, they were there and so DĂșlinnor allowed Reinette to knock.

Aglaron opened the door shortly after, his eyes drifting the two briefly before smiling and allowing them to enter. DĂșlinnor allowed himself to separate from Reinette so as to greet Thurilostel who had risen from her seat. She hugged the younger Elf and then moved to Reinette. "Come. I thought that we could head out to the training grounds. I know that you can't train but it will do you good to be out in the Forest. Thurilostel will take care of Lady Reinette." Aglaron said. The older Elf placed a kiss upon Bregolon's head as the child was in the floor playing. He then made his way to his wife. He placed his hand over his heart and then allowed the hand to move from him in her direction.

DĂșlinnor, as his brother was telling his family goodbye, turned to Reinette. "I shall see you later. Aglaron seems to want to get me out into the city." He told her. When his brother was ready, they left. They walked in silence for a long time before Aglaron spoke. "Thurilostel is not pleased. I received word late last night that I will be returning to the Borders in a week. She does not wish me to go but I must. I only wish she could understand. We are still being attacked and our lands must be protected."

The younger Elf knew why Thurilostel was not happy. The brothers never went out without one another. This would be the first time that one of them had been called without the other. "I am sorry. This is my fault.." DĂșlinnor said softly as they neared their destination. "No. Do not apologize. You are still recovering. I would not allow you to come with me regardless. You need to be resting." Aglaron said. Still, DĂșlinnor felt bad. "You will watch over my family for me while I am gone?" He asked DĂșlinnor suddenly. The younger Elf nodded. Of course he would.

He could easily see that Aglaron did not wish to leave. But he would. It was his duty and if DĂșlinnor was in the same position..he would do the same. He placed a hand on his brother's shoulder. "Just be careful while you are gone. I will watch over things here."
