Reinette opened her eyes and DĂșlinnor allowed his own to hold her gaze steadily. Both of them were silent for the time being. He was happy to be so close to her. It seemed that around her that he felt like himself again. It made him happy to think that the woman before him cared for him. Reinette's lips moved lightly over his own and the Elf returned it in the same manner. Her hands came to his free one and he allowed her to take hold of it. He opened his eyes, watching as she did the same.
The Elf offered a smile to the woman as he watched her. Reinette's voice soon broke the silence that had surrounded them for the short moment. "You should probably rest soon. You need to keep up your strength..." He was not surprised at her words. DĂșlinnor knew that Reinette still worried for him. Even though he tried to prove to her that he was doing better, she seemed to see through him. "Probably. Of course, at least I've been able to stay awake longer. I imagine that is a good sign." He said to her softly. "You said that it made you feel better to have me around so... If you want me to stay with you tonight... I wouldn't mind."
Before he could speak, Reinette placed a light kiss against his lips. He found himself, once again, returning the kiss. DĂșlinnor could honestly say that he would be perfectly happy remaining locked with Reinette. He turned his grey eyes to the woman once she'd pulled away completely. He was surprised at her words. He wanted nothing more than to tell her that he needed her to join him yet his mind was telling him that he should not allow it to happen again. He was torn. If his parents found out..he would be in for it. He'd likely never hear the end of it.
Yet, his heart screamed at him. He debated silently as he suddenly leaned into her. He placed a gentle kiss upon her lips, allowing himself to linger for a moment. DĂșlinnor had a small smile on his face as he slowly moved away from her, yet he kept her form close to his own. "That..is an unfair question." He said to her, his face suddenly going a bit more serious. He didn't know if she would understand why he would say such a thing but he was still debating with himself. He was so used to following the rules yet with Reinette..he seemed to find it harder to do so.
The Elf smiled at her then. "I suppose that you've already made up your mind, regardless of what I say. I would not mind for you to join me if it is what you wish. In fact, I would welcome your company." He captured her lips again, this time a bit more firm than before. He did not allow it too last overly long. As he pulled from her he turned. "I see you soon?" He asked Reinette before he continued on through the home.
He soon came to his bedroom and entered. The Elf made his way throughout the rather large room. The first thing he did was remove the sling, sitting it off to the side and out of the way. Then, he was quick to change out of his clothing, putting on his normal sleepwear. Once he was ready, DĂșlinnor turned the bed down and went ahead and got in, getting comfortable.
A short time later Reinette entered the room. The Elf waited for her to join him in the bed before he turned over, gently sliding his injured arm about her waist as he'd done that morning. He could not lay on his left arm but it did not bother him to lift it slightly. He allowed himself to lay rather close to her, his face near her neck. "We will more than likely have to visit with my parents before Aglaron leaves for the Border. I have also promised my brother that we shall watch over Thurilsotel and Bregolon. He worries for them."
He went silent for a moment, gently placing a kiss on her shoulder. DĂșlinnor then allowed himself to relax. Having her near still seemed to help him. He found it easier to begin falling asleep though he tried to fight it for several minutes. "You know, if you are not careful I will begin to expect you to join me in bed." He said softly, sleep beginning to enter his voice. He was aware long enough for her to speak if she wished.
The following morning, DĂșlinnor woke earlier the day before. However, he decided to remain laying in the bed with Reinette. He enjoyed far too much waking up wrapped about her form. She seemed to still be asleep. He watched her for a long moment, simply memorizing her beauty. He was unsure of how long he remained that way before he leaned down, gently placing a light kiss upon her shoulder. He allowed his lips to linger for a moment before slowly moving his lips up the slope of the rest of her shoulder and then to her neck.
He was smiling at her as he waited for her to awaken. DĂșlinnor kept his arm about her, content. "Good morning." He said, only once he was certain that she was awake. He made no move to get up, simply allowing himself to relax once again. "Would it be horrible to just stay in bed all day?" He asked her with a light laugh on his voice. Of course, they could not. Yet, the idea was one that he would have loved to do if they did not have things to get done.
