The new source of light did nothing for Cinereus. The gray of his fur so whispy it was as if he wasn't even there. He ghosts up to stand beside Ostri, staring ahead at the trees hungrily, ready to get something to eat. The bits of scrap and the tools bound into his tail jingle only slightly as he moves, making a scraping noise that can be somewhat disquieting to others. They don't catch the light, all scratched up to a matte finish so that they don't reflect light. He stares at Mein as she comes up to them, neither commenting or reacting for a time. Finally after moments he replies with a wan smile.
"You're a chipper as ever Mein."
