Kendit grinned as a dragon formed inside the giant ball room, the village and kingdom shrieking in fear. "Ride with me?" He smiled to his date, who he lifted into his arms as he walked onto the dragon's back from it's tail. He grinned to her. "My! Looked who joined us my dear! The Future King and Quern of this lovely kingdom!"

The Princess was fearful of the dragons and the mysterious suited man as he spoke. "What do you wish of it, sir?" The man seemed to smile, and snapped his fingers. "I wish to speak with you privately, your highness." She shrieked as they were suddenly in a forest, the only civilization was miles from them. "Alright, here we are." She swallowed. He grinned in a villain way. "I wish to take your first born from you and the Prince. That child shall be my mentor as my own child. And there is nothing that will save the child from this fate, besides it's own death. " he looked to her stomach, and pressed his hand against it. "ta da." The princess solemnly swallowed, and watched him. "Do not tell your beloved of this curse either. Or you won't have a Prince to rule the kingdom. We wouldn't want to disappoint Daddy dearest."

The Princess did as she was told, and when they were warped back to the castle, she ran to the Prince's arms her eyes threatening tears.

Kendit made himself and his date appear in a meadow, where they could be alone, away from the ball. "don't panic. I'll get you home in time to tend to your parents with plenty of time to spare. I just needed to be alone with you, love."
