Garret had experienced enough guns, and Aaron's hatred against authorities wasn't something he should burden his dearest with. Besides, it would be meant as half a joke. Instead he studied the tired teen for a few seconds until his gaze warmed, and he replied softly; "No, thank you." Then he spoke truthfully serious; "Garret, I don't want you worrying about anything alright? I'll stay with you as much as I can. You're an idiot, but I love you, and no one is coming between us...as long as that's what you wish." Glancing at the cops outside who readied themselves to enter the room, he continued; "I'm gonna be ok, don't worry about me. I want you to go outside when they come in, alright? Get me a soda or something."
