Glancing about the room Bel noticed a woman approaching him. She seemed to be some sort of artist, she seemed nice enough he supposed, yet something about her rubbed him the wrong way almost instantaneously. It was as if the sun had come out. My God did Bel hate the sun.
βSo, whatβs your favorite sin then Mr Belphagor?β Bel managed a smile, the sort of smile one makes when they taste something completely and utterly foul but don't wish to be rude.
"Ah, a comedian. How quaint." Ai almost chimed in to say "Murder" but Bel shushed the small doll sitting in his hands. Softy he spoke to the cloth toy. "Manners my love." Adjusting his necktie Bel turned on his charm and took her hand firmly, lifting it up to his lips gently kissing it. His crimson eyes never once leaving hers.
"My last name is truly unfortunate, I've thought of changing it to something lovely. Perhaps Valentine? Then again, my name is a legacy." Setting her hand down and placing Ai down lightly, he returned to make eye-contact with the woman.
"Cassandra. Incantevole.*" Bel smiled warmly, an expression he has mastered the fake for. He wondered what she thought of him, he was an odd sight to be sure. If he were to be honest with himself, the girl was quite lovely. There was no denying he found her a nice thing to look at.
"What silly card did you receive? I got The Devil. How childish, giving out tarot cards as invites." He managed a soft laugh as he maintained his unblinking visage of her eyes.
"Your eyes are magnificent." Bel stated as seriously as he could with a touch of longing. He found women enjoy being sought after. Better intel could be gathered if he gained her trust after all.
