_ 4 Months Later _

Things finally calmed down in the lives of the four. Emily was enjoying her new life which consisted of being with Peter constantly, as he was working on something he seemed to really care about, but she didn't really. She sighed as she laid her head on her arm, looking out the window as the trees seemed to fly by, Peter driving crazily fast as always. Emily didn't even know where they were going. All she knew for sure was that she could, and seemed to be the only one who could, calm down Peter when he went into his tantrums. She didn't honestly know what she was doing, as per Merian, who knew exactly what she was doing every second.

"Please slow down, Pete!" She cursed as a rock went flailing up into the windshield

Merian and Ryan were finally married, and enjoying the marriage bliss, as they were still technically newlyweds at 2 months. Merian lounged around most days, telling her love goodbye in the mornings, to hello in the evenings, and then get lost in his embrace. They were finally safe, and settled in an actual house. She couldn't believe what had happened over the past few years, and she ran a hand through her hair as she sipped her coffee that morning. It seemed to be getting harder and harder to find something she could actually work at, and help with finances.

"Baby, I can't find anything. Again." She shook her head, softly closing the paper.
