Zoey was about to walk out of the office when Aaron poked his head out of his office. "Oh, yeah, sure." She said, glancing at her watch as she walked into his office, hoping what ever it was he wanted wouldn't take too long as she needed to pick Alison up from school. She walked into his office, closing the door behind her. "It was fine," She said with a small nod of her head, slipping her purse onto her shoulder. She was taken a little by surprise when he asked her out to dinner, even more so when he mentioned her daughter.
Zoey wasn't sure how to answer, she didn't want to drag ally along, introduce her to a man(even if that man was her father), just to have him leave or for her to get hurt some way. She always tried to protect Alison as much as possible from Aaron's family, 'But his parents are gone now, and they were the main problem, right?' She thought to herself. She looked at Aaron again, who she realized was still waiting for an answer. "Fine, but nothing fancy, and you're just my boss." She said, not wanting to confuse Ally, or for her to start asking questions about the past she and Aaron shared, Ally was a bright girl, it wouldn't take much for her to put two and two together.
