Despite their efforts it seemed Asha was not swayed by their words of camaraderie. While Taethion seemed to take the stubborn stance of the solemn swordswoman in stride she came away from the whole discussion feeling more dejected than before. She hadn't the opportunity to mention it but ever since she had joined them she had gotten the feeling that she might not necessarily be wanted by some of their members. Between the part-demon who outright despised her, the grim crow masked figure that emanated necromantic energies who disappeared under most disturbing implications and the unfriendly dwarf were all unpositively slanted towards her in attitude.

As a creation who's sole purpose was to help people she sure felt bad at her job. No attempt she had made thus far had helped anyone despite her best efforts. It didn't help that as she followed Taethion about the city streets she received nothing but strange glares and suspicious whispers from the townsfolk that she passed by. She did her best to hide her appearance but there were somethings that couldn't be covered by a big cloak such as a lack of feet and the trail of slime she left wherever she went. Occasionally some of the things she'd hear in passing were truly worrying. She did everything short of outright clinging to Taethion to avoid being separated from him for even a millisecond in this town.


She was finally given room to relax a little as she ducked into the inn Taethion stepped into. She hung back while Taethion discussed their room arrangements and prices with the friendly folks that owned the inn. She had the feeling that they might not have seen her yet as everything was going quite regularly. Who knows? Maybe these people will be really nice and not care that I'm a slime. It would be quite lovely if that were to be. She hoped deep down before being stirred from her introspection by the innkeeper's remarks regarding rooming.

Now her immediate choice when considering who to room with would be Taethion given that he's a follower of Dedarius, a god she's already beholden to by essence and worships along with him. Of course he might have other ideas about who to room with and she didn't want to be an imposition upon her good friend. There was of course Adelheid but he seemed a bit harsher and their relationship started a bit rocky. Iator was a friendly person and while not of the same faith as her he still seemed warm and receptive to her. It was especially good that they both enjoyed discussing magic as well as talking in general.

There was of course Adrian and Sylphine. The younger members seemed more laid back and friendly but she hadn't gotten much opportunity to really connect with them. Gale seemed kind of nice but he tended to keep to himself more and was sometimes a bit off in his behavior. Asha was a self explanatory case and she already knew how she felt the others might feel towards her. Given her rocky relationships with the dwarf and the half demon she didn't want to push the tensions by staying in their rooms as it could end poorly and just wind up alienating them to her which would make her feel awful. She thought hard on her decision before speaking up to Taethion on the matter.

"I could room with you if you wanted. I'm alright with rooming with any one of us though. We are a party after all and I'd be happy to go with any one of them. After all, a party is all about trust and I need to trust them if they are to trust me too."
