Piper Vine
Piper heard Jane's loud voice and she turned towards the other immediately. Good now she doesn't have to keep looking around. She felt her phone buzz and she briefly looked down to see it was from Brent. Rolling her eyes she put her phone back in her purse to address Jane. Piper took a deep breath and looked back up at Jane. "I wish I could be as happy as you are." She looked around before grabbing Jane's arm and pulling her into another empty hallway. "I literally had the worst day of my life yesterday." Now it was time to truly act. "My parents found out that I got drunk and put me on punishment yesterday and also took my allowance for the next two months. On top of that I'm supposed to host the party this year and now I don't have any money to do so." Piper wiped her eyes faking as if she was about to cry.
"Oh not to mention I have to lose 10 pounds before my next photo shoot. So I have to ask Brent Barclay of all fucking people to give me some pills." Piper grabbed Jane's hand and squeezed it tightly. "I don't want to feel like a drug addict so can you take some pills with me? Please I could really use your help. I'm begging here and I'll love you forever if you help just this once." Piper put on her best pleading look hoping Jane would help her. Had this been yesterday morning Piper would never ask Jane for anything that she just had. Especially asking her to take pills again, but she after talking to her father last night she figured why even be nice to people anymore? They'll just betray you eventually anyways.
She felt her phone buzz again and she released Jane's hand. It was Carolina, just the person she honestly wanted to talk to. "I have to go but just think about everything okay?" Piper gave Jane a hug before turning on her heels and leaving. Maybe she would regret what she just did in the future, but as of right now she didn't.
To Brent:
I put the bug in your favorite girl's ear. Happy now?
To Carolina:
I'm heading to you now.
Piper headed towards the back area Carolina was talking about and had no problem in finding her good friend. As soon as she spotted Carolina she picked up her speed and the first thing she did was give the girl a tight squeeze. They haven't seen each other in a while, and Piper thought that was extremely sad. They were good friends and had been through a lot together. Finally pulling away Piper faintly smiled at the girl. "My dad, or who I thought was my dad, tried paying me and Thomas several thousand dollars so we wouldn't go to the press about our parents not keeping us. I never thought of doing that in the first place." Piper ran her fingers through her hair with frustration. "I mean I was looking for my parents, but he literally came all the way from Vancouver to shut me and my brother up. It's ridiculous."
Piper glanced around to make sure no one heard her. Pulling out a compact mirror she checked her makeup to make sure it wasn't going to run. She still has to maintain her image at this school. "We can talk about this more later. I kind of just want to forget it all happened. Come on let's go sit down, my feet are already starting to hurt"
