(Alright, this post is going to be mostly first person, until the very end probably, but the rest will be like normal. It's only first person for the attempt at humor and the ability to understand from her eyes.)

Burgess. A strange city that isn't too big, or too small, not far from the coast line, but mostly quiet. Most of the time anyways. Now, in a bigger city like Burgess, you can probably imagine that there is a lot of crimes. That's where the heroes come in. Burgess is famous for its heroes and villains, a great place to start for a rookie who wants to find out what happens in this world. Or at least, super-wise. Now I've been living here for a long time, ever since me parents left me for Scotland, and I kind of like this place. My aunt, in fact, was one of those heroes. She died and passed the gift to me, which made me one. Thinking it was a curse, I hid my power and tried doing the crime-fighting-vigilante thing. It worked well, until one night when I went driving in the country. I met HER. A shooting star that wasn't really a star, but a starship that crashed there in the field. An alien girl stepped out, wary of me and her surroundings. After being very wary of each other, she finally learned English (rather quickly and in a rather weird way, I might add), she mentioned something about a Great Destiny. I didn't know what that bit was about, but being the kind and mindless human that I am, I took her home with me. I taught her all that I could before my senior year of high school started, and she learned quickly. Infiltrating this world and Burgess and passing as a 'normal' person was hard, and she is still rough around the edges but ah...who's normal anyways?


Falling apart. My home was falling apart after all the ages it had stood through, it was finally breaking. If you believe I am talking about Earth, you would be mistaken. No, I speak of Corona, the planet I come from; the planet literally on the other side of the solar system. A parallel world, as some call it. My parents were worried for my well-being, thrust great power and responsibility on my shoulders and sent me away as quickly as possible. Disoriented and utterly confused, I traveled until I landed on the place where my Destiny was supposed to become clear. THIS is where Earth comes in. I met a young woman, and after learning her language, she took me in, taught me to infiltrate her ranks. Become one of them you could say. It wasn't easy, but I hope that my Destiny will come clear, the Great Destiny will become as foretold, and my planet will be saved; once and for all. All I must do now is wait.
