Cas decided to skip out on the rest of the meeting. He told his father he was going to get a head start on looking for the fugitive angel before she could get too far. His father bought the excuse and allowed him to leave without any arguments. Cas was relieved to say the least. He bowed out and headed towards the edge of the island, stopping momentarily to read Abigail's text. He smiled softly, having already been thinking of going to her anyway. He slowly typed out a reply before leaving.
[To Abby]
[Where are you? I'm on my way]
He didn't bother to wait for her response before taking off towards the mainland. He landed safely behind a few buildings, close to Abigail's house, and began walking slowly as he waited for her reply.
Leon was tired of crying, and he was tired of yelling. Roman refused to budge, claiming that he was only following orders. Since when did he follow orders so willingly. "You couldn't even listen when I told you not to follow me and now you're following orders?". As he spoke a thought slowly occurred to him. Was this the council's doing? Castiel knew. He knew about their relationship. This was probably his fault, he probably told him. That damn traitor! That had to be it. There was no possibly way everything that happened between Roman and him was a lie…he didn't want to believe it. This was the council's doing, no doubt. At least, that's what he preferred to believe even if something inside him told him not to. "Screw you Roman Everest…" he cursed under his breath as he kicked one of the bars and walked to the back of the cell, taking a seat on the floor against the back wall. It didn't matter what had happened, it was over. Everything was over. And as if things weren't bad enough, a familiar face walked up in front of the cell, looking down at Leon with that stupid apathetic look. "How the mighty have fallen".
