Ezra listened attentively to Delaneyās story as he continued to collect fruits. He wanted to ask why she always went alone, but didnāt think it was the right time.
āI just kept running but I felt like I was flying over the grass, and I didnāt know it then, at least right away, but I actually was. I was just casually grass surfing, like every normal person.ā Ezra chuckled at the way she worded that and looked at her in amusement, mixed with some amazement.
āThatās amazing. Much better than my storyā he said simply. He glanced at his basket which was full and began picking berries from the bushes. Eventually Delaney came over to help BIM and they got the job done fairly quickly. Ezra took a step back to admire their hard work and his eyebrows shot up into his hair line.
āWe might have gone overboardā he said as he examined the amount of fruits they had gathered.
āWeāll have fruits for weeks!ā. He settled the bowl on top of one of the baskets and picked it up with ease, leaving just one basket for Delaney to carry. They hadnāt even gotten to all the trees, but it was about time for them to get back. The others may think they decided to run away.
Ophelia agreed to stay home send Cami sighed in relief. She offered to pick her up if Cami felt like coming home at any time, and she simply nodded. Truth is, she didnāt feel like going to school at all, but regardless of what was happening, Cami never let herself slick off when it came to school. She felt her friend rest her head on her shoulder and Cami copied her, resting her own head on Opheliaās.
"Hey, did you get your muse?". Cami didnāt register the question at first, but once she did she nodded enthusiastically.
āI did!ā she said with the faintest smiles.
āHis name is Sound, and heās the cutest thing Iāve ever seen!ā she gushed, remembering the white little bunny resting on her bed. It took her a moment to realize that must have sounded off to Ophelia. Cami didnāt know in what forms all the other muses came. For sell she knew, she was the only one with an animal.
āHeās a bunnyā she finally clarified. Now she had to wonder where her new pet had run off to. He hadnāt popped up anywhere since he had woken her up in the morning.
āDid you?ā she asked curiously, returning the question back to her friend.
āDealā Mathew said, catching Remi off guard. The older male blinked a few times and then smiled weakly.
āDealā he repeated, his voice much softer than Mattās. Remiās eyes remained on Matt as the body shifted around to make himself more comfortable and suddenly Remi was looking at his lips that now rested between his hands, instead of at him. He blinked a few times as he leaned back nervously in his chair and ran a hand through his messy gold waves. His eyes darted around the room for an excuse to get up and walk away, anything, until he finally remembered Kelsey.
āAh, look thereās Kelsey. Iām going to- Iāllā¦ be back in a minuteā he then immediately got to his feet, not bothering to even look back at the otherās reaction, and headed for the toddler. He could always count on his goddaughter to get him out of nerve racking situations. Remi quietly walked up behind the child and suddenly began tickling her from behind.
āGood morning my beautiful princessā he said once he stopped, adding in a slight bow.
