Winter heard the conversations go on in the small building behind her, muffled voices, their tone sounded quite calm, this pleased her. It seemed they were bonding more now, growing ever so slightly more comfortable with one another. Winter looked out to the horizon, watching as the sun was slowly peering through the smog and dirt in the sky. Because of the fighting and gun powder, bombing, the crumbling of buildings, nothing was working in this little world of theirs and you could see how much their Earth didn't like it. The sky was never clear. Throughout the day the sky was filled with smog, left over ash picked up by the winds filled the skies. Most of the time you barely saw the sun, it wasn't too hot throughout the day which was good for Winter, it meant that sometimes she could travel through the day.

Winter heard her name, Jack had asked if she wanted to go inside because it was warmer. Her pet skull instantly replied before he could of course as he turned slightly to look at him from the doorway with her big, grey blue eyes looking into his. Even though they were a fair distance away, just from this distance would make someone feel as though she's looking past their eyes and deep into their soul, reading them as a being. "She doesn't want to go inside where it's warm fleshy, she'd rather it where its cold!" The skull yelled out towards Jack and she quickly turned her head away from looking at Jack and at the Skull with a cold glare once again. How embarrassing, this skull always managed to make her feel like people were all looking at her oddly; she didn't like the idea of all eyes on her, staring, laughing or growing creeped out by her. Her cheeks flushed a bright red as she slammed her hand on the top of the skull, instantly silencing it from talking further as the loud sound of bone clacking together echoed around her for a brief moment.

Far too shy at this point, she did not turn to look at Jack as she spoke up "I need the cold to survive, too much heat and I'll die." She said this bluntly as if it were the norm, and by this point it probably was. Remaining seat on her legs, the skull sat in her lap. Winter wore rather casual clothing: light, baby blue jeans, matching in colour long sleeved cardigan which was a tad too big on her as the sleeves engulfed her small hands. Her shirt was as snow white as her hair, low cut, spaghetti strapped and quite tight fitting. A large baby blue scarf was wrapped around her neck and he jeans were tucked into lace up white boots. From then on she made sure to stay in the shade and kept to herself outside, listening to the voices of her newly met companions.
