Ezra was more than convinced they had picked enough fruit for days and days, but Delaney made a good point. There were several people in the house. If they all wanted some, theyād probably run out within the day.
āWeāll just have to eat them wiselyā he said as they walked back to the kitchen. She seemed to be deep in thought about something, so Ezra didnāt say anything more. He didnāt want to interrupt whatever it was she was thinking about. He wanted to ask if she was okay, but he didnāt wsnt her thinking he was nosy. Eventually they made it to the kitchen. Everyone was still there, and seemingly waiting on them.
āThere were a lot more fruits than what we imaginedā he said, setting one of the baskets send the bowl down and helping Delaney with the other.
"Aww! I wish mine was a bunny.. Cami chuckled at her friends reaction. They both shared a deep live for small, furry things. Cami tried to picture what her friendās muse would look like and smiled. It seemed to fit her perfectly. She glanced over at the clock and got a bit worried. It looked like she would have to go to school without any breakfast. Luckily, at that moment Ezra and Delaney came waltzing in with an enormous amount of food. Camiās brows disappeared into her hairline. She had no idea there were that many different kinds of fruits, let alone all in the same house.
āIām going to eat something before I leaveā[/b] she announced to her best friend before getting up and heading over to the piles of fruit.
Kelseyās question caught Remi a bit off guard. The toddler seemed to be really worried about him and he couldnāt not feel guilty. He had acted way outside of himself the night before, send he needed to make up for that. [color=turquoise]āOui mon cheri, Iām just fineā he said as he lifted her up into his arms and placed a kiss on her cheek. His head turned in the direction of Ezra and Delaney as they walked in with the fruits and he smiled at the small child in his arms.
āI think I know a certain someone that would want strawberriesā he chimed, knowing his goddaughterās favorite fruit. He set her down once again and walked with her over to the large selections of fruits. He looked over all the different kinds, suddenly stopping at the apples. He then titled his head slightly to look at Mathew. He seemed to be on the phone, so Remi decided to take his breakfast to him.
āIāll be right back princessā he said as he grabbed an apple and headed over to the small blonde. He held it out for him with a slight smile, not wanting to interrupt his phone call.
