Both the dark digimon and his darkly clad partner watched as everyone ran ahead. Rue wasn't one for running, she was a slow and steady sort. She could walk for hours but be tired after running a few minutes. Not like she could keep up anyway. At least she could punch, she presumed.

Next to her she could almost feel BlackAgumon fuming. She could get it, she didn't like being reprimanded either. At the same time she knew what was going on in her own mind, she knew it was going on in his too. There was this self doubt that permeated them both and maybe that was why they were partners. No one else would understand.

I'm gonna stay back here. Running's not exactly my thing so you can go along ahead if you like. She said looking down at the figure next to her. He stared back up at her and replied with out a thought. Nah, I'ma stay back here if that's cool with you.

Rue gave a smile before turning to look at the digivice that she had pulled from her pocket. It was black and pink and the screen lit up when she pressed the buttons. She figured one of the other digidestined knew more about it and could explain but this was apparently hers and she needed to get acquainted with it.

I think this thing can tell us where the others are at. I saw it before we came in here. I'm wondering if it has a map or gps. Or a FAQs page. She said to BLackAgumon muttering the last part. She saw their dots on the screen, everyone's were the same except her and BlackAgumon's they were different from the others but the same as each other's.

So is there a WhiteAgumon? She asked. No, just a regular Agumon. He's yellow. I'm a dark version of him, if you hadn't guessed. A sort of virus type digimon. He explained expecting her to go running in fear of the 'infected' digimon. Instead she surprised him, looking thoughtfully and replied, Yellow huh? You got the better end of the color deal. They shared a grin. Definitely.

They continued talking while they followed the rest of the gang making sure no one would be left behind. Occasionally BlackAgumon would explain something about the world that had caught her eye but there wasn't much he knew himself. Mostly they just joked and learned to enjoy each other's presence.
