The magic of the object was not as strong as whatever magic warped the landscape, as far as she could tell, but she did NOT like it. The only reason she actually remained near River, who is also a damnable magician, is that he's the only familiar thing in the entire world right now. A bloody Neko magician! Maybe that's why he has such weird fur.

She took one step away and glanced over the rows of doors, but closed her eyes again and sat on the ground holding her head. Too much magic in one day disoriented her. Dammit! Dammit! Dammit! Even the evil death monster was magic. What the hell is she supposed to do here?
