Cas watched as Cordelia left the room and walked past him into a different one. She came back with a bat and he lifted an eyebrow.
"You're being accompanied by the most powerful god of the council and you take a bat?" he asked then shrugged.
"Just don't hut me with it and you can have as many bats as you want" he said as he stepped out of the house. He got past the various forms of security, including the outside gate, and signal Cordelia to follow. Before diving in head first he peeked from side to side and even checked around the perimeters to make sure no one was waiting to ambush them. All looked clear for now. Still, Cas didn't let his guard down for an instant. He checked to make sure Cordelia was following and continued to walk cautiously.
"Don't miss me so much.". Leon sat still, unable to say anything, as his best friend kissed his cheek and left. He stared at the plate in front of him for a second before letting out a sigh and taking a few more bites. He was no longer hungry nor embarrassed, now he was just worried. He knew Castiel knew what he was doing, but it was just them two against an entire army. He pushed the plate aside and got to his feet. Deciding to go back down to the kitchen, he picked up the plate and headed that way. He didn't want to be alone anymore.
Aidan looked after Cas as he left and then quickly shifted over to his sister, placing a hand on hers.
"They'll be okay" he said, reassuring both her and himself. He knew Cas was more than capable of taking care of them both, but there were a lot of enemies out there and only two of them. It was only natural to worry. He attempted not to show it too much though, to keep Abby from worrying more than needed. Everything was quiet and still for a few moments, until Leon walked in and headed to the sink, quickly washing the plate he had used. What had happened earlier came to mind and Leon's cheeks turned a light pink but he ignored it. Grabbed a small towel and began drying the plate in silence.
