Celeste had wept the entire night before. Losing Talia like that, had taken a tole on her spirits. The heavens above couldn't even make her feel better. Her daughter was laying in the infirmary. And it was if she was not breathing. Celeste hasn't ever lost a child before the battle has started. It was a new day, but Celeste did not feel any better. As she watch Talia laying down now, she honestly felt a bit worse. The improvement was not visible. Miracles happen here all the time. And she was praying for one right now. Wiping the single tear that had fallen from her cheek, she stood up from the chair. Running her fingers through her hair, she turned to leave the room. Her other children needed her. They needed guidance. They needed a parent. She would be all those things for them. To keep any of them from going through what Talia went through.
By the smell of food she knew that everyone had gathered in the kitchen. Even Damian was making his way there. Her dress was dragging across the floor as she made her way towards the group of children. Slowly she made her way into the kitchen with a small smile on her face. She came to stop a few steps after she walked through the door. "Good morning." She said, looking at everyone. It was lovely to see them all up and well. They probably had many questions, but she could not answer them all. Not right now. Right now many of them had school. And they might be after Kain, but they were still children.
"I see you all are making yourselves at home. I am glad." Celeste took a few more steps inside the room, her hands behind her back. "I know you all have many unanswered questions. But please understand that I cannot answer them all right now. What I can tell you is that you all have not left your home time. The mansion is hidden away from those unlike you." Celeste was subtly telling them that they were still going to school and such. In fact they could go their normal daily routine like they would. But they lived here. This is where they were to live for the rest of the battle. She brushed the ends of her hair off her shoulder.
"In the garage are various means of transportation for you all to get to where you need to be. The cars are automatically set to bring you back to the mansion when you need to be here. When you all pull out of the driveway you should instantly recognize where you are." The mansion was conveniently located in an abandoned forest. Where a dirt road leads right up to the front door. No one goes into the forest for the reason of horrible ghost stories and folklore. They were spread by Celeste. Too keep those that were unwanted away.
"That is all I have to say for now. You are going to be late for school." She was saying that more for the ones going to school. With a wave of her hand, the school children were in the garage. It was Celeste way of telling them to go to school. She was standing before the leaders and Willow. She smiled at them. Then she disappeared herself, fading away into tiny stars.
