Castiel followed Cordelia into the dorms and towards her room. It didn't take her too long to find the elixir. He studied the liquid for a moment. That small bottle had caused everything, from the moment he met Abigail until this moment. They'd gone full circle. He nodded and took the bottle, slipped it into the inside pocket of his jacket and signaled her to follow him out. The silence was uncomfortable. Something was coming and Castiel could sense it. They were in the middle of a war and everything was dead still and silent, it was too unusual. He stepped out of the dorms and into the streets, scanning their surrounds. Nothing. He gave Cordelia the okay before taking off running in the direction of his own home. The closer they got the quieter it seemed. And suddenly there were bullets raining from every direction and they were unarmed. Castiel pushed out his wings as quickly as he could and pulled Cordelia close enough to wrap his wings around her before he continued to run. The bullets bounced right off his wings barely scratching them.
"Are you alright?" he half yelled over the bullets.
Leon stared at the floor for a moment before realizing Roman had spoken to him. He looked up in surprise, wondering why he had decided to leave. Leon managed to catch a glimpse of his face and he looked upset. Was it because of him again? He looked around the room at the other angels. Some of them were watching Roman, some of them were watching him and some didn't seemed to pay them any mind. Leon pushed himself off the counter, hesitating a bit, before walking up beside Roman and quietly lacing their fingers together. He could feel the eyes of all the other angels on them and his cheeks burned, but he didn't falter.
"I'll go with you" he said, looking at the ground. He glanced over his shoulder at the others.
Aidan was smiling a little but all the other angels were simply staring. Leon shot them his signature second-in-command glare and the majority of the quickly looked away, avoiding eye contact. He couldn't help but to smirk a little and he turned he gaze forward again.
