AJ listened to her words as she spoke when she came over. He gently pushed his camera away from himself and further into the middle of the table. He looked over at Miranda who receded back to her computer. He spoke up "My morning has been pretty awful. Missed another chance at getting paid."
His hand slowly reached for the coffee cup out of instinct and gently grasped it. He brought it to his lips and took a sip. AJ scrunched his face up at the burnt taste of the black coffee. He focused back on Miranda "So how about yours? Anything interesting happen this morning?"
Once he uttered those words he noticed a police cruiser race by the front of the building with it's lights and siren blaring. He fought the urge to jump up and sprint to his car. He stayed seated and continued to have a pleasant conversation with his neighbor.
