Only seconds after Sydney insinuated that Sienna was purposely ignoring her texts in favor of Charlotte, her phone pinged with texts from both Sienna and Piper. Jane's face instantly took on an expression reading "how dare they?!" as she skimmed the messages. Without thinking, she flung her phone across the bed to where Sydney was sitting. "I can't even believe them!" she hissed. Both of her friends had been honest and probably more gentle than she deserved, considering that Jane knew neither of them wanted to be around Sydney but continued to insist they do so. Still, Jane was used to getting her way and she wasn't happy with both of them rejecting her, especially in a way that hinted that neither of them wanted to hang out with she and Sydney in a closed setting any time soon. "I think you're right. Sienna's trying to ditch us for Charlotte! Us for Charlotte! It's weird to even say that out loud!"

Within seconds, Jane's phone was sent flying in her direction and as she unlocked the phone and read the first couple of messages on it, an eyebrow quirked. A barely noticeable smirk surfaced as she read, and Jane started ranting. First of all, Piper, I don't want to hang out with you in private either. I don't want to hang out with you in public, for that matter, and you should be grateful that I've even let you get this far. What a stupid, stupid bitch. Next was Sienna's message, the more recent of the two. It was harder to run a petty commentary on this one because she and Sienna had more of a reason to avoid each other than Piper did. Piper was obviously just jealous and intimidated by her, so Sydney could spin her into being a bitch, but with Sienna, it was going to be more tricky. She was going to have to toy with Jane's emotions if she wanted to vilify Sienna. It wasn't the nicest thing to do but judging by Jane's reaction, it wouldn't be the hardest thing to do either. "She thinks she's better than you. Did you see how she has '50 other things to be worried about', over you?" Maybe that wasn't exactly how Sienna had phrased it... "Honestly, Jane, I think she's always been like that. I'm the one who has had to deal with this side of her, the side of her that thinks she's so much more important than you and I, and I was okay with that. Like, I can stand up to Sienna and deal with how toxic she can be, but now she's trying to do that to you and I think that's a step too far." Sydney stood up and placed Jane's phone back in her hand, comfortingly rubbing Jane's in the process. This was wrong... doing this was wrong, but Sydney was going to give it a shot. "First she posts about me, and then she posts about Charlotte... I think it only makes sense that she's going to come for you next."

Jane was falling for Sydney's biased influencing because it seemed like it made sense. Between how dramatic she could be, and how Sienna was normally such a good friend that she would put herself into uncomfortable situations just to make Jane happy, the sudden change seemed to make sense. Sydney's badmouthing seemed less like badmouthing than it did logical reasoning and when she quieted down to let Sydney speak, she was left chewing on her bottom lip nervously. "You don't think that she really wrote that about Lottie, though, right?" Jane asked. Her riled up mood had dropped when Sydney suggested that she might be the next target of what was apparently Sienna's wrath. She didn't argue that Sienna had written the post about Sydney because that, especially, did seem to make sense. With the way that dinner had went, and knowing the pent up anger that Sienna must have had over it, it seemed like she would want the world to know about that affair more than anyone else. But Charlotte? Why would Sienna go after her?

It was a good thing that Sydney was a quick thinker because she really didn't have any set reason to explain why Sienna would post about Charlotte. Sydney was sure that Sienna was behind that blog but even she couldn't come up with a reason for why Sienna would go after Lottie. "Think about it, Jane. Sienna probably suspected that you and I were getting tired of this bully that she's become, so she knew Charlotte was her only other option as a real friend. It would look bad for her to just suddenly run to Charlotte when you and I drop her, so in her crazy, delusional mind, it made sense for her to try to come out looking like the hero. She wrote that post about Charlotte, so that she could get closer to her by comforting her over it and making it seem like she genuinely wanted to be friends with her, and that she's just not a second-choice friend." It made sense to Sydney, but it was definitely possible that it was too complicated for Jane to follow.

Jane knew what Sydney was saying. She wasn't completely sure that she believed it, but she wasn't completely sure that she didn't believe it either. The person that Sydney was describing wasn't the Sienna that Jane loved, but maybe it was possible that there was a darker side in her. A side dark enough to secretly be the bad guy, just so she could be the good guy to your face. And if Sydney was so sure that she was going to come for her next, Jane had even more of a reason to be nervous. "I don't know... I guess that's possible."

The seed of doubt had been planted and that was all that Sydney needed to see for now. "I'm just trying to look out for you, but I guess we should enjoy our spa day. It'll be more fun with just the two of us anyway," she smiled, linking arms with Jane as they left her room. They were almost in the makeshift spa room when voices became audible, and with a few more steps, Sydney matched them to Carolina, Charlotte and Victoria. Even as children, Sydney had always brushed Victoria Walsh off as being a wannabe. Today, that assumption wasn't far from true, but while refusing to accept her as one of her own, Sydney had also failed to realize the potential in her. The potential aside from being an everyday minion. She received texts from Victoria frequently, commenting on how great the photos from her party looked, asking if she could get an invitation, complimenting her on an outfit, or a social media post, and so on. Most of the time, Sydney didn't reply because she didn't need to, but today, she decided it was time to take a closer look at Victoria. She had been hanging out with Sienna at Charlotte's event yesterday. Maybe she was worth more than Sydney pinned her to be. Without an ounce of care if she was interrupting something, Sydney tugged Jane into the kitchen where the girls were working. She opted to only acknowledge Victoria, since she had seen Carolina before, and simply wasn't in the mood to converse with Charlotte. "Tori, come hang out with Jane and I." It was a demand more than an offer, but in the presence of Carolina, who could potentially sway Jane's family's opinions of her, she kept a smile on.
