Richard turned the question slowly in his mind. There were many variables to account for, some he could only speculate about.
"The fates are fickle," he said, delaying.
How fast are the clouds moving relative to the boat? Are they travelling parralel or on a seperate vector? Would the wind change?
"They offer many paths..."
Would it be better to ride the storm out or wait it out? Could they ride it?
"If we keep our current heading, the storm could last a couple hours or a day. We could lash the sails and wait it out, but that would set our schedule back. Or we adjust our heading slightly, and try to get around the storm."
