Katcher caught the pickaxe with his right hand and looked at the man as he began to speak. "I see.." He thought about Lukas' explanation for a moment, it still seemed a little suss but at this point he thought he had been in worse situations than what this guy could do. Karcher's eye moved to the cave Lukas pointed to in the distance. Pretty useful clients he had to find all that promising silver. "Alright, I'm getting paid for this after all, I will ensure you return safely Lukas." That first part he sort of muttered to himself as he looked at the flask, then sculled the contents and Lukas certainly wasn't lying when he said it wouldn't taste very good. Karcher cringed, but kept up his cool demeanour.

For some odd reason, all of a sudden he felt like they weren't the only ones there, he felt someone was watching them but couldn't prove his thoughts at all. He was certain they'd meet this friend or foe perhaps at the cave anyway though, might be easier to deal with them there instead of out in the public where he might get into trouble for killing someone. "Lead the way Lukas." Karcher finally said shaking off suspicious thoughts as he was slowly beginning to not be so tense around his client.
