Alison smiled at the male's compliment as she stared into his eyes. Maybe Jason wasn't that bad, she thought to herself. Though she shook the thought from her mind. He slept with girl after girl and wasn't afraid to admit it, Jason wasn't the kind of guy for her. "Thanks," she responded as she continued to sway with him, following his lead.
Alison honestly couldn't believe that nobody was able to recognized who she was. She may have looked different but she didn't look that different. She was still Alison, just everyone didn't seem able to pick up on it. Though as the two of them danced together she felt all eyes on them.
At that time it was time for prom king and queen to be chosen and just as Alison had expected, Jason Todd was the king. Though when the light shown on her, she was shocked to find she was going to be the prom queen. Though her real name hadn't been called, instead she was called Cinderella. Really? They couldn't come up with anything else than Cinderella? she thought to herself as she began to make her way up to the stage with Jason.
The tiara was placed upon her head and she stood there with a slight smile upon her face as cameras began to flash. If anyone knew who she truly was, none of this would have happened. She wouldn't have been prom queen, she wouldn't have even spoken to Jason. She would be sitting by herself and watching everyone having fun. Though part of her wished that was what she was doing right about now. All the attention she was getting was beginning to make her feel uncomfortable.
Just as it was time for their speeches, she immediately ran off the stage and began making her way out the door on her way back home. She couldn't handle all of this. At least her step mother and step sisters wouldn't be home so they wouldn't know she was at the dance when she wasn't supposed to be and hopefully her step sisters don't find out she was the Cinderella girl.
