Jeong was thoroughly surprised how she had completely deflected his statement. People were definitely different in this school. Back at home they would always say in gentle voices that drip with hasty retreat when the maids or nobles made a mistake. Clearly this was not the case. He shrugged his shoulders in the inside of his mind allowing the situation to slide just as another question was propped up.
“So if you two have the free time to spare, how about we all eat together and talk until school is about to start?” the greem haired male had asked the two of them.
The blonde haired, Abigail immediately agreed but Jeong was a bit hesitant. They were not bad people-he had hoped not anyways. Perhaps it was because he was never really ‘invited’ to anything before. Most of the time, prior to this school he was ‘ordered’ or ‘expected’ with his choice in the matter irrelevant; his green eyes trailed to the ground.
“I’m Jeong…” he stated whilst nodding his head slowly to the previous question in a silent acceptance to the invitation to hang out. Should he say anything else? Like 'I'm so glad to finally make new friends,' he rejected the idea in his head. To automatically claim friendship would be too arrogant of him.
